How to apply PREP for the best results
Before Planting
Spread 4 cups per 10 square feet of garden bed. Work into the top 6 inches of soil for even distribution. Top-dress with 4 cups per 10 square feet every 3 weeks during the growing season.
At Planting
Mix ½ cup into the planting hole for each vegetable plant.
Broadcast
Apply ½ cup per plant if broadcasting in rows.
Top-Dress
Apply 1 cup per plant around the base every 4–6 weeks, depending on plant size and growth stage.
Newly Planted Trees & Shrubs
Mix 4 cups of the mix into the backfill soil for the planting hole.
Established Trees
Apply 1–2 cups per inch of trunk diameter, spreading it evenly in a ring starting 12 inches from the trunk and extending to the drip line. Water thoroughly.

Precautions
- Adjust rates based on soil fertility. Perform a soil test whenever possible.
- Over fertilizing can harm plants. Start with the lower end of the range and monitor plant health.
